A fire broke out on the cargo ship GUANA while in the Bay of Biscay.

A fire broke out on the general cargo ship GUANA, operated by Arel Shipping, while it was sailing in the Bay of Biscay in Brest, France. While the fire in the engine room was extinguished by the crew, the ship was disabled.

While the crew could not restart the machine, the ABEILLE BOURBON tugboat was sent to the area.

The ship is still in the area.
