The Romanian-owned general cargo ship Armony was detained by Türkiye for the second time.
The general cargo ship named Armony, owned by the Romanian company Info Market Srl, which was previously arrested in Çanakkale on September 13, 2023 with 19 problems, was arrested in Ereğli this time.
During the inspection of the ship, 20 problems, 16 of which were serious, were detected, ranging from flag state approval documents to Marpol Annex 1 violations.
The Tanzanian flagged ship was released for repair and maintenance. The ship is currently in the anchorage area in Kartal.
