22 people died as a result of the sinking of the boat carrying irregular migrants in Madagascar.
According to local media reports, the boat carrying illegal immigrants on their way to the remote French land of Mayotte Island capsized off the island of Nosy Faly in the north of the country.
In the incident, 22 people lost their lives and 23 people were rescued.
While 47 people are on the boat, the search for the 2 missing people continues.
