USCG medevaced Captain of bulk carrier PERIDOT with dizziness and chest pain, on Feb 6, and transported him to hospital in New Orleans. Captain was airlifted from ship, anchored at Southwest Pass Anchorage, Louisiana, his condition is said to be stable. Bulk carrier is anchored since Jan 20, she left Destrehan Louisiana on Jan 20.
