Cargo of coal caught fire at around 2340 Seoul time Jul 2, on board of general cargo ship HANJIN GREEN, berthed at KOEN Yeosu Power Plant, Jungheung-dong, Yeosu. The ship is geared with self-unloading conveyor system, fire is believed to start in conveyor belt. Fire was taken under control by 0340 Seoul time Jul 3, but firefighters keep extinguishing smoldering hot spots, and monitor cargo. No injures reported.
