Fire broke out inside fish factory KODIAK ENTERPRISE, berthed at Tacoma, USA, in the morning Apr 8. Judging from different photos, fire started somewhere in fore part, below upper deck, and then spread towards aft. A lot of smoke was released, probably with toxic components, so nearby neighborhoods residents were advised to remain indoors. Ship’s crew reportedly were evacuated, all are safe. As of 2000 LT Apr 9, fire probably, was taken under control or extinguished, but at least one firefighting boat remains at her side.
