Forester Paris, a 4,900 dwt general cargo ship built in 1990 and operated by Lider Gemi İşletmecilik, received a three-month ban in accordance with the MOU.
It was learned that the ship, which was detained in Italy’s Chioggia Port in October 2023, was detained for the third time in two years.
17 problems were identified on the ship, including an inoperative emergency generator and fire doors and fire-fighting equipment and escape routes.
The ship, which was released after eight days with the promise that its problems would be solved, is now in Tuzla. (Haberdeniz)
