General cargo ship RED LINE collided with inland tanker TN-709 on Dec 20 in river Don below Rostov-on-Don, while sailing downstream from Rostov to Mersin Turkey. Both ships suffered damages – tanker’s starboard hull and superstructure sustained holes and dents, freighter sustained bow damage, it was holed above waterline. No leak reported, RED LINE was anchored near collision site, remained anchored as of Dec 21.
