General cargo ship A COOP NO.7 contacted anchored tanker KIRISHIMA MARU NO.11 at around 0150 Tokyo time Jun 27, at Kashima Port anchorage, Ibaraki Prefecture, eastern Honshu, Japan. Both ships sustained damages: KIRISHIMA MARU NO.11 stern portside was breached, A COOP NO.7 suffered starboard damages in cargo holds area near superstructure. Tanker was allowed to sail to Shimizu, A COOP NO.7 berthed at Kashima in the afternoon.
