General cargo ship MING YANG collided with 20-ton fishing vessel Hiroyu Maru No. 8 in Toyama Bay 7 nm off Himi, northwest Honshu, Japan sea, at around 0900 Tokyo time Oct 7. Four fishermen were rescued, they’re safe. Fishing boat capsized and partially sank, remaining afloat. Oil leak reported. MING YANG left Fushiki, Toyama Bay, on Oct 4, and is cruising or anchored in Toyama Bay, probably waiting for order. Rough weather is thought to be the cause of accident.
