Bulk carrier SHUO LONG 817 reportedly ran aground in Yangtze river in front of Changxing island, Shainghai, between Buoys 45 and 47, veering into shallow waters at around 0940 CST Dec 8. The ship is proceeding upstream to Shanghai, arriving from Jingtang Bohai sea, understood carrying cargo of coal. Remained aground as of 1330 CST with at least two tugs around working on her. Awaiting confirmation and updates.
