Product tanker KADRIYE ANA anchor dragged at Ahirkapi anchorage in adverse weather, tanker drifted onto embankment at Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, Marmara sea, at 2130 UTC Nov 28. Hull was breached, engine room flooded, Master requested evacuation. By 0230 UTC Nov 29 tanker remained stuck at embankment, it is said, that she might rest on bottom, remaining partially above waterline. She’s loaded with 500 tons of fuel oil.
