It was noted that the ship was flooded and was deliberately grounded, as confirmed by the Russian Maritime Agency RosMoRechFlot.

While the rescue operation of the ship, which started its commercial voyage from Samsun, was continuing, it was announced that the ship was surrounded by several barriers against leakage.

It was learned that there were 28 sailors consisting of Georgian and Turkish crew on the 142 meters long, 21 meters wide ship, which was built in 2000.
