Two Turkish freighters grounded by storm, Black sea - News2Sea

Two Turkish freighters were grounded by severe storm which ravaged Black sea on Nov 26-27, at Turkish Black sea coast port of Inebolu and Hopa. Understood no salvage yet until weather calms down.
General cargo ship VAMOS broke off her moorings at Inebolu port, Turkey, Black sea, and drifted ashore in Filli Kosk area, at around 0440 LT Nov 27. The ship was offloading cargo at Inebolu, reportedly fertilizers. 11 crew were rescued, all are safe.
General cargo ship FR PEARL was beached by storm after dragging anchor at around 0550 LT Nov 27 at Hopa, Turkey, Black sea coast. All 13 crew were successfully evacuated, all are safe. The ship is said to be in ballast. Remained beached as of evening Nov 27.
