114 kilograms of cocaine were seized in an operation carried out in a port in Tekirdağ by the Customs Enforcement teams of the Ministry of Commerce.
As a result of the risk analysis and controls carried out by the Customs Enforcement units for the containers arriving at the ports in the country, a large amount of narcotic drugs were seized in a container that will transit through Turkey and originate from South America.
114 kilograms of cocaine narcotic drugs were seized during a detailed search of the container, in which a suspicious concentration was detected during the rail control, by Customs Enforcement officials, including the detector dogs. The Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
