British maritime security firm Ambrey said a Maltese-flagged container ship reported seeing three explosions towards the port area, 24 km southwest of Yemen’s Mocha city.

After the Houthis in Yemen threatened the security of ships in the Red Sea, British maritime security firm Ambrey reported yesterday that a Maltese-flagged ship saw 3 explosions in the port of Mocha city of Yemen.
Ambrey said the ship’s captain was heard calling a coalition warship over VHF. He said the ship soon reported seeing a small boat, about 50 meters long and with two lights, within a mile of the scene.
Ambrey noted that three missiles were seen to be fired from the direction of Yemen’s Taiz Governorate.
