3 ships collided, pushing 1 aground, azov sea, russia

It all started in the afternoon Oct 8 after general cargo ship SORMOVSKIY 3067 anchored in river Don near estuary, Russia, Azov sea, dragged her anchor and drifted downstream, colliding with anchored ore/oil carrier NEFTERUDOVOZ-52M, with SORMOVSKIY 3067 propeller entangling in anchor chain of NEFTERUDOVOZ-52M. Tied together, ships drifted further and contacted anchored general cargo ship VIKING, and pushed her aground. As of 1200 Moscow time Oct 9 all three ships remained in the same position, with tug working on them. No leaks reported.
