Minister of Internal Affairs Yerlikaya, in his statement on his social media account, stated that 51 kilos and 750 grams of cocaine were seized on the Liberian-flagged dry cargo ship named Berge Torre, anchored off the coast of İskenderun Bay, Adana Yumurtalık, within the scope of Narkogüç Operations.

Under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security, Anti-Narcotic Crimes Department, Adana Provincial Police Department, Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate, Coast Guard Eastern Mediterranean Group Command and Mersin Customs Enforcement Anti-Smuggling. and our Intelligence Directorate teams carried out a Narcoforce Operation on the Liberian-flagged dry cargo ship named Berge Torre, anchored off the coast of Adana Yumurtalık, in the Gulf of İskenderun. 51 kilos and 750 grams of cocaine were seized in 45 packages in 2 durable plastic bags, chained in the anchor chain space of the ship.
