The cooperation between the two companies was announced at the signing ceremony attended by Arkas Holding Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Diane Arcas Göçmez, Arkas Holding Logistics Group President Onur Göçmez, and Fretlog Managing Partner Muharrem Dursun.

Arkas Holding Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Diane Arcas Göçmez, emphasized the importance of India for the logistics industry and said, “India is the 5th largest economy in the world with a Gross National Product of 3.7 trillion dollars and a population exceeding 1.4 billion. It has been growing at an average annual rate of 6 percent for 20 years.” India, which stands out with its growth rate, is expected to become the world’s third largest economy in 2030 and the second largest economy in 2075. The country, which has managed to receive large investments in recent years, is also the new favorite of the global economy. The corridors established in global geopolitics always link India and Europe. “The North-South Corridor signed in 2000 and the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor signed this year reveal the importance of India. In this context, being in India will add great strength to us.”

With Fredlog joining our group and our company in the USA, one of our most important goals will be to benefit from the logistics opportunities created by the 200 billion dollar annual trade volume between India and the USA.
