“Being in India will add great strength to Arkas Logistics”

It has been growing at an average annual rate of 6 percent for 20 years.” India, which stands out with its growth rate, is expected to become the world’s third largest economy in 2030 and the second largest economy in 2075. The country, which has managed to receive large investments in recent years, is also the new favorite of the global economy. The corridors established in global geopolitics always link India and Europe. “The North-South Corridor signed in 2000 and the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor signed this year reveal the importance of India. In this context, being in India will add great strength to us.”

“Access to the US and Asian markets will become easier”

Arkas Holding Logistics Group President Onur Göçmez emphasized the investment strategy in world markets that Arkas Logistics started in 2021 and said, “We started our investments in global markets with our new company and warehouse we established in the New Jersey region of the USA.

As a continuation of this strategy, by acquiring Fretlog in India, we aim to position ourselves strongly and firmly on the trade flow route from Southeast Asia to the Gulf, from Europe to the USA. With this strategic investment, our domestic and international customers’ access to the US and Asian markets will be easier. We closely follow the US-India trade outside Turkey and our region. With Fredlog joining our group and our company in the USA, one of our most important goals will be to benefit from the logistics opportunities created by the 200 billion dollar annual trade volume between India and the USA. As Arkas Logistics Group, our international structure will be further strengthened with our end-to-end logistics service network, Fretlog. On the other hand, we continued our growth in Europe this year with both the office we opened in Romania and the service contract we signed between Duisport and Hupac for intermodal transportation.” he said.

Fretlog Managing Partner Muharrem Dursun stated that Arkas Logistics’ power in global markets will contribute greatly to Fretlog and said, “Fretlog, which has branches in important trade regions of India such as Mumbai, Chennai and Pune, will add value to the Arkas Logistics group with its experienced staff and organization.
