Big wave killed 1 and injured 3 passengers in Antarctic cruise - News2Sea

Cruise ship VIKING POLARIS was hit by a large wave south of Cape Horn, Drake Passage, late Nov 29, while returning to Ushuaia Argentine from Antarctic cruise. Several glass panels in the booths were broke, 1 passenger died and 4 were injured. The ship docked at Ushuaia on Nov 30. Later moved to anchorage, remained at anchor as of 0600 UTC Dec 2. According to calls records, brand new ship is deployed in Antarctic cruises since October.
