Bulk carrier SAO LUIZ in lay-up in Rio de Janeiro since 2016, apparently unmanned and anchored just above Rio-Niteroi Bridge, dragged anchor and drifted onto the bridge in the evening Nov 14. By 2000 LT stuck ship was released and taken back to anchorage. Traffic on the bridge in both directions as of evening Nov 14 was closed, specialists are estimating possible bridge damages.
