Container ship PANGAON EXPRESS capsized in strong waves in Bay of Bengal, in the morning Jul, being en route from Chittagong to Pangaon Inland Container Terminal in Keraniganj with 96 containers on board. Loss of stability was probably, caused, or facilitated, by collapsed containers. Some sources said the ship sank, some report she’s laying dead in water with strong portside list, partially in water. 14 crew were rescued, some containers went overboard.
