D-Marin’s sustainability program ranked in the top quarter among social activity companies worldwide.
D-Marin, the premium marina selection that continues its sustainability commitments without slowing down, was awarded the silver medal for the second consecutive time by EcoVadis, the world’s most reliable rating service provider in the field of business sustainability, and increased its ranking in the global social activity sector.
With this development, D-Marin significantly improved its ranking in 2022, rising from the top 30% to the 24% in the social activity sector worldwide. This rise in sustainability rating reflects D-Marin’s unwavering determination to implement sustainable practices in all of its activities.
D-Marin; It was awarded the silver medal after an evaluation of its sustainability practices and commitments regarding 21 indicators in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics and sustainable supply. The thresholds in EcoVadis evaluations, which are based on strict global application standards, are becoming more stringent every year, making it increasingly difficult to improve the ratings.
Based on its mission to create “sustainable marinas of today and future generations”, D-Marin is implementing a strong Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy that comprehensively addresses all four areas evaluated.
