The General Directorate of Coastal Safety made the information about the ship failure on its social media account. The following statements were included in the statement:
“The ship named DÖKÜ-IX, which experienced a machine failure off the Beşikdüzü Breakwater, was backed up by our KEGM-1 rapid rescue (life-saving) boat and safely anchored in Beşikdüzü.”
