Ferry ROMANTIKA broke off her moorings at Eemshaven, Netherlands, on Feb 1, when gale-force wind suddenly hit harbor. Ferry with no passengers on board drifted from quayside and contacted continuously, bunker barge, offshore supply tug SAPTOR (IMO 9087312) and support vessel WINDEA JULES VERNE (IMO 9863584). All vessels sustained damages, understood ROMANTIKA was affected most, she’s taken off scheduled line Netherlands – Norway. Photos show ROMANTIKA damaged bow ramp.
