Container ship ELBWIND ran aground in Kiel Canal at around 0105 UTC Jun 17 halfway between Rendsburg and Kiel, while transiting Canal in western direction, en route from Poland. The ship seems to be stuck in embankment, blocking traffic. As of 0350 UTC was remained in the same position with tug working on her.
