A naming ceremony was held for the arctic factory fishing vessel built by Tersan for Ocean Prawns.
The arctic factory fishing ship Atlantic Enterprise, built by Tersan Shipyard for the Danish-Canadian Ocean Prawns A/S and launched in September 2022, is 82.3 meters long and 18 meters wide. The ship, which has triple trawling capabilities, has a shrimp and turbot production line as well as a 1200 tons of fish storage area. Equipped with Wârtsilâ 7350 kW main engine, the ship will be able to cruise at a speed of 16 knots. Designed by Skipsteknik, the ship has comfortable living and social areas for its crew of 35 people. Thanks to its energy-saving hull design, the ship will be able to hunt efficiently in icy and arctic waters.
