Jack-up rig KEY SINGAPORE, positioned 60 nm west of Mundra, India, Arabian sea, issued distress signal in the morning Jun 12. Later Indian CG helicopter airlifted 11 personnel from the rig. Understood there wasn’t an accident on the rig, and evac was caused by approaching cyclone Biparjoy. Rig’s AIS is on. Not known if it’s all personnel which was on board, or just non-essential workers.
