Fire broke out in reportedly, one of containers on board of container ship LUNA MAERSK, some 12.5 nm north of Kea island, Aegean sea, at around 1650 UTC Oct 2. The ship was en route from Piraeus to Thessaloniki. The ship turned back and increased speed, she returned to Piraeus and was anchored at around 2200 UTC Oct 2. Fire is said to be taken under control by crew, no updates available yet as of 2330 UTC. No injures reported.
