Fire erupted on board of MSC container ship in UAE waters on Jun 6, one crew suffered burns and had to be airlifted to hospital by NSRC UAE. Judging from NSRC UAE video, fire was located either in aft containers bay, or maybe in superstructure in engine room. Ship’s ID wasn’t revealed, but according to available data, it might be MSC MONICA III. The ship arrived from Mogadisho, in the morning she was berthed at Dubai, in about 3 hours she was moved to Khalifa. Ship’s ID is not yet confirmed.
