MSC Cruises has revised the schedules of MSC Sinfonia and MSC Musica ships operating Eastern Mediterranean cruises.
MSC Cruises has revised the Eastern Mediterranean itineraries for its MSC Sinfonia and MSC Musica ships in light of the geopolitical situation in Israel.
MSC Sinfonia’s eight 11-night cruises throughout the season will sail to Istanbul Port instead of Israel’s Haifa Port. Piraeus Port instead of Rhodes, which is within the scope of the program; Izmir Port will replace Limassol Port.
From 21 October 2023, MSC Sinfonia’s new itinerary will include the Italian ports of Genoa, Civitavecchia and Messina, followed by Piraeus, Izmir, Istanbul and Heraklion in Crete, before returning to Genoa, Italy.
MSC Musica, another ship carrying out an Eastern Mediterranean program, will visit Rhodes instead of Haifa on its three 7-night cruises throughout the season, on 18 and 25 October, and Marmaris on its voyage on 1 November.
Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, said: “The safety of our passengers and crew is always our top priority. We quickly revised the itineraries of MSC Sinfonia and MSC Musica to offer an attractive alternative for the winter months.” said.
MSC Cruises has initiated the communication process with all passengers and travel agencies affected by the change.
MSC Cruises will also share confirmed details of new itineraries on its website to provide up-to-date information for existing passengers as well as anyone wishing to book a holiday in the Eastern Mediterranean during the winter months.
