MSC launched Mobile Office

MSC Group, the leader of the global transportation and logistics industry, has implemented its new project, Mobile Office. Mobile Office, which was created by redesigning the MSC container and turning it into an office and started to travel around Turkey on a tractor, met with its customers for the first time at the Izmir Logistech 2nd Logistics Storage and Technology Fair. The first stop of Mobile Office was Manisa OSB.

MSC Group, which determined its route as seven regions of the country, started to tour Turkey’s organized industrial zones with its Mobile Office. The Mobile Office Team first met with its customers in Manisa OIZ and stayed there for a week, explaining its logistics solutions in detail, and began to respond to its customers’ demands on-site. In order to carry its services to the whole country, MSC Group aims to visit cities with which it has important commercial relations but does not have established offices, with its Mobile Office and to bring its services to its customers.

The details of the project were explained by MSC Export Sales Representative Ecem Algun and MEDLOG Sales Team Leader Ahmet Özata, who are in the Mobile Office Team.

Stating that they started this project in order to reach the regions where MSC Group cannot serve through established offices, Ecem Algun said, “MSC has a very wide network with 675 offices around the world. We provide services from 15 offices in Turkey. We started to bring our wide range of logistics solutions and applications with our new mobile office to the provinces where we do not have offices. Here, when we contact our customers, we have the chance to hear their demands, projects or goals firsthand. At the same time, we also have the opportunity to tell about our group, our experiences, and the solutions and suggestions we offer specifically for them.

Stating that they are at the very beginning of the project, MEDLOG Sales Team Leader Ahmet Özata stated that new routes can be drawn after feedback and said, “Since we are within the same group as MSC and MEDLOG, we offer door-to-door transportation services to our customers. In addition, we also provide transit transportation, project transportation and warehouse services with MEDLOG. We aim to provide more effective service by eliminating time and space constraints with our Mobile Office for the provinces where we do not have an office but with which we have important commercial relations such as Manisa, Uşak and Denizli. Stating that they plan to stay for a week in the organized industrial zones of each city they visit, Özata said, “We will be able to be present not only in the Aegean Region, but in every region of Turkey. Because, as both MSC and MEDLOG, we export or import from all over Turkey. So we have potential customers everywhere. The best way to understand customer expectations is to be in close contact with the customer. We will be even closer to them with our Mobile Office.
