Container ship GSL ARCADIA was disabled by electric failure which affected several ship’s systems, in the evening Jun 2, abeam of Puerto Bolivar, Colombia, Caribbean, while en route from Brazil to Cartagena Colombia. The ship drifted dangerously close to coast, she was towed offshore on Jun 4, and after some 20 hours drift, was taken on tow by assigned tug, MRS DOROTY (IMO 9517783) to be towed to destination port Cartagena. Caravan was sailing along Colombian coast as of Jun 6, ETA Cartagena Jun 8.
