Each of the tankers to be built by Hyundai Heavy will have a capacity of 88,000 cubic meters.
Istanbul-based tanker operator PascoGas Shipping has ordered two very large ammonia carriers (VLAC) from South Korean Hyundai Heavy Shipyard.
It was reported that the total cost of the VLAC, which was learned to be 88,000 cubic meters each, was 240.7 million dollars.
PascoGas recently signed a contract with South Korea-based Hyundai Mipo Shipyard for three LNG tankers.
While PascoGas added Pasco Marsel to the fleet in July 2023 and Pasco Roni in November 2023, the construction of the last tanker of the series, PascoGas Berke, is still continuing. (In the News)
