Passenger cargo ship SABUK NUSANTARA 46 ran aground on the coast of South Bengkulu Regency, South Sumatra southwest coast, on Sep 27. All folks on board have been rescued, Indonesian salvors tried to salvage the ship after sealing underwater hull breach, however shortly after she was taken off seashore, on Oct 16, she developed record and sank in shallows, at 5-6 meters depth, so the wreck stays partially above water.
