The search for the missing 9-person crew of the dry cargo ship that sank off the coast of Zonguldak continues on the 6th day by land, air and sea.
A land-based search was carried out throughout the night for the missing personnel on the Turkish-flagged ship “Kafkametler”, which sank after hitting the breakwater due to a storm in the Black Sea Ereğli district on November 19.
Work continues by land, air and sea in the region with the participation of AFAD, the General Directorate of Coastal Safety and other teams to find the 9 missing personnel.
The Turkish-flagged dry cargo ship named “Kafkametler”, carrying cargo from Russia to Izmir Aliaga Port, hit the breakwater in the military zone while leaving Ereğli Port due to the storm in the Black Sea region on November 19 and sank.
The dead bodies of two of the 12-person Turkish crew on the ship were found on November 20 and 23, and the dead body of one staff member was found this morning.
