While cruising from Gemlik to Batumi, the dry cargo ship, which had a machine failure, was rescued off Haydarpasa.

In the statement made by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, it was stated that the 94-meter-long dry cargo ship “İbrahim Karabekir”, on the way from Gemlik to Batumi, had a machine failure off the Haydarpasa Breakwater.

In the statement, it was noted that the ship was anchored in Ahırkapı under the coordination of the Istanbul Ship Traffic Services Center, accompanied by the pilot and the Rescue-9 tugboat.​​

While cruising from Denmark to Istanbul, the 228-meter-long tanker, which had a machine failure in front of Haydarpaşa, was rescued.

In the statement made by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, “The 228-meter-long tanker CLYDE, which had a machine failure in the south of Haydarpaşa while cruising from Denmark to Istanbul, was safely anchored to the Ahırkapı Anchor Zone under the coordination of our Istanbul VTH Center, accompanied by our Pilot and our RESCUE-11 Tugboat.” expressions were used.
