While the search for the missing 7 crew members of the dry cargo ship Kafkametler, which sank off the coast of Zonguldak’s Ereğli district, continues, the sunken ship was spotted.

The search for the missing 7 crew members of the Turkish-flagged ship Kafkametler, which sank after hitting a military breakwater due to a storm in the Black Sea Ereğli district on November 19, continues.

The search efforts of the Coast Guard Boat Command, Coastal Police, AFAD and other teams working in the region for the missing crew continue both on the shore and at sea. Searches continue uninterruptedly in and outside the port, as well as in the coastal areas.
While the Nene Hatun Ship also contributed to the search for the missing crew, the sunken ship was viewed.

In the images, a large part of the ship is seen submerged in mud.

The Turkish-flagged Kafkametler ship, which was carrying ferro silicon from Russia to Izmir Aliağa Port, hit the breakwater in the military zone while leaving Ereğli Port due to the storm in the Black Sea Region on November 19 and sank. The bodies of 5 of the 12 Turkish crew on the ship were found.
