A mine caught in the net of fishermen in Ereğli district of Zonguldak caused panic.
The incident took place at Bozhane Port. An object was caught in the net of one of the boats that were fishing in the shelter. It turned out that the object that the fishermen could not understand was a mine.
Upon notification of the situation, the Coast Guard Command and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams took security measures in the region and banned entry and exit from the port.
After the inspection by SAT commandos coming from Istanbul, the mine will be transported to the safe zone and destroyed.
