The second boat built by ASFAT for the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs was delivered.

Within the scope of the contract made with the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the second ASBOT was delivered after the first ASBOT, whose production started in 2022 and was delivered in the last quarter and started operating in 2023.

Designed and produced domestically to contribute to safety and security activities, ASBOT is defined as an auxiliary patrol boat that shows high success in challenging missions thanks to its new generation design. Classified by Türk Loydu, ASBOT stands out as a cost-effective project as well as its high success. The bot is currently also used by the Gendarmerie General Command and the General Directorate of Security.

The boats, which are 10.2 meters long, 3.2 meters wide and weigh 5,200 kilograms and can operate in lakes, rivers and seas, can reach speeds of up to 40 knots with 2 250 horsepower outboard engines, and can make full port and full starboard turns while fully underway. It was noted that it was designed in this way.
