Car carrier broke off moorings during storm Zoltan passage, Emden

Car carrier SFL COMPOSER broke off her moorings in Emden, in the afternoon Dec 21, during storm Zoltan passage. The ship was berthed at car terminal along Ems river, outside inner port. The ship started to drift in the river, but thanks to tugs quick response, possible serious accident was avoided. Car carrier was taken to inner port and berthed in new inner harbor, where she remained as of Dec 23.
