Peace enforcement was carried out throughout the city by Istanbul Police Department teams. Public Security Branch Directorate personnel, district police departments, Preventive Services, Traffic Inspection, Aviation, Anti-Narcotic Crimes, Sea Port branches as well as Special Operations teams participated in the inspections. During the inspections carried out throughout the province, especially in Fatih, Beyoğlu and Kadıköy, vehicles and boats in the Bosphorus were stopped and their documents were checked.
Speaking about the inspections, boat captain Serdar Oğuz said, “It is our own boat. We have two boats. We do angling for hobby purposes. We thank our security officers very much. They carry out checks for us. We present our documents.”
