Iraq sent a ship loaded with 10 million liters of fuel for Gaza

A ship loaded with 10 million liters of fuel set out for Gaza from a port in Basra, southern Iraq.

Iraqi Prime Ministry Undersecretary Zeydan Halaf announced that the ship loaded with fuel, which set out for the Palestinian people from Hor ez-Zubayr Port in Basra, went to Suez Port.

Speaking to AA correspondent, Iraqi Red Crescent Basra Manager Hatem Atşan stated that the fuel in question was sent as a gift from the Iraqi government to the people of Gaza in Palestine and said, “This fuel will be sent to Egypt by sea and delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent, and from there it will be given to the Palestinian Red Crescent.” said.

General Yahya Resul, the Military Spokesperson of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, stated in his press statement that aid to the Palestinian people will continue and that aid will be sent to Arish Airport in Egypt for Gaza on Saturday with two planes.

Pointing out that this fuel shipment was made for the first time, Atşan said that aid in the field of health and food will continue from now on.
