Med Marine and OMMP signed a contract for 6 Azimut Azimuth Stern Drive tugboats.
The contract signed at the OMMP headquarters in Tunisia in November 2023 marks the beginning of the future cooperation of the two industry giants.
It was learned that OMMP, which initiated a rigorous tender process for six tugboats, chose Med Marine due to its commitment to professionalism in the tugboat construction sector and its determination to deliver turnkey vessels.
The tugboats of the RAstar 2800 series, each with a length of 28 meters and a pulling power of 60 tons, were designed by Robert Allan. OMMP will use the tugboats, which represent the cutting edge of maritime technology, in towing and port operations that require power and performance.
