DTOD provided maritime operator training to Mozambique VTS personnel at the Beylerbeyi Campus of the General Directorate of Coastal Police.
The General Directorate of Coastal Safety made a statement on its social media account regarding maritime traffic operator training.
In the statement, “The model course “IALA CO103-1 VTS Operator Training”, determined by the International Association of Marine Navigation Aids and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), was given to the personnel of the Mozambique Beira Port by our Organization between 02-13 October.” expressions were used.
After the training, the delegation from Mozambique visited the Istanbul Ship Traffic Service Center and received information about operational issues.
The Head of the Delegation thanked DTOD and KEGM for the training provided.
