Ship carrying supplies from Turkey to Gaza set out

The second ship carrying humanitarian aid materials from Turkey to Gaza set out for Egypt.

The second ship, carrying approximately 1500 tons of humanitarian aid materials from Turkey to Gaza, departed from Mersin Port to Egypt’s El Arish Port.

According to the information obtained, humanitarian aid is being sent from Turkey to meet the humanitarian needs in Gaza.

In this context, the second ship carrying approximately 1500 tons of humanitarian aid material departed from Mersin Port today, with the participation of non-governmental organizations under the coordination of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).

The aid ship is expected to arrive at Egypt’s El Arish Port tomorrow at 15:00 Turkey time.

The ship set sail with all its holds full and sent canned food, food and hygiene materials, living materials consisting of folding containers, tents, sleeping bags, blankets, clothing, 6 ambulances, forklifts and various types of generators.
