The iron-laden ship, which had a machinery malfunction off the coast of Zonguldak, was towed to the port.

The Panama-flagged cargo ship named “Furkay”, with a crew of 17 people, set out to carry the iron cargo it bought from Russia to Egypt, had an engine malfunction off the coast of Zonguldak.

After the situation was reported to the authorities, the ship was towed to the port belonging to the Turkish Hard Coal Corporation (TTK) accompanied by the tugboat named “Kocabaş-1”.

It was learned that the health of the ship’s personnel is good and the ship will continue its journey after the malfunction is resolved.
