YILPORT became the controlling partner of Takoradi Port

YILPORT Holding announced that Ghana Takoradi Port has become the controlling shareholder in Atlantic Terminal Services Limited by acquiring the 16 percent shares held by Ibistek and the 35 percent shares held by Africa Finance Corporation.

In the statement made by YILPORT, it was stated that the port is the first step in Africa to make the region a world-class logistics and trade center.

Yılport Holding Chairman and CEO Robert Yüksel Yıldırım said, “The acquisition of shares in Atlantic Terminal Services through AFC’s valuable partnership indicates a very important opportunity for Yılport Holding. “This serves as a strategic gateway for us to establish our presence in the African market and aligns seamlessly with our commitment to developing world-class logistics and trade hubs internationally.”
