34th international marmaris race week has ended

The organization, in which 110 sailing yachts and 1000 athletes from 16 countries participated, ended with the fifth day races.

The 34th International Marmaris Race Week, held in Marmaris district of Muğla, was completed with the fifth day races.

In addition to Turkey, Spain, France, Russia, Latvia, Germany, Ukraine, England, Canada, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, USA, Belarus, Moldova participated in the races organized by Marmaris International Yacht Club (MIYC) and held in the Marmaris Gulf and in the open sea. and 110 sailing yachts and 1000 athletes from Estonia participated.

On the last day of the organization, the yachts left Netsel Marina in order, sailed around the bay according to their fleets and took training laps until the start.

In the Gulf, the yachts in the IRC and IRCCHR groups completed the day by racing simultaneously after starting according to their classes on the triangular route determined by the referee committee.

Yachts racing in the bay opened their balloons and created a visual feast. Citizens and holidaymakers from the shore recorded the races with their mobile phones.

The trophies of the athletes who won the races, where sailing yachts compete in two separate groups and 9 classes, will be presented in the evening in the event area established at Netsel Marina.
