A fire broke out on the yacht Aria SF of Italian billionaire Paolo Scudieri

Italian billionaire Paolo Scudieri’s £20 million super yacht, Aria SF, surrendered to flames off the coast of Ibiza.

Italian billionaire Paolo Scudieri’s super yacht Aria SF, worth 20 million pounds, or approximately 435 million Turkish lira, caught fire.

Smoke rose from the 45-meter yacht anchored off the coast of Spain’s touristic island Ibiza. The 9 passengers and 7 crew on the yacht at the time of the fire were rescued by the Spanish Coast Guard. It is not yet clear whether the Italian billionaire was on the yacht at the time of the fire.

Photos taken off the coast of Ibiza included the moments when the yacht caught fire.

While no clear information was shared about why the yacht named Aria SF was on fire, the fumes were also seen from Ibiza.

The Italian billionaire is estimated to have a fortune of $500 million, and Scudieri is the tourism ambassador for the Principality of Monaco and sits on the board of Banco di Napoli. It is also known for having many shops and restaurants in Italy.
